Jessica Flowers & The New Bloom is a Columbus-based live band made up of experienced musicians deeply rooted in the Central Ohio music scene.
The band draws from a wide and carefully chosen repertoire: Stevie Wonder and Joss Stone, Bill Withers and Olivia Dean, Sharon Jones and Dua Lipa, Lake Street Dive and Hall & Oates, Corinne Bailey Rae and St. Paul & The Broken Bones.
The thread connecting all of it isn't era or genre…it's feel. Every song on a JFNB set list earned its place because it moves people.

The inspiration
This is a band built on range. jazz phrasing next to soul. grit next to rock muscle. The repertoire is built from a deep love of a wide range of music. the well-known and the criminally underheard. the band treats every one of those songs as raw material, not a museum piece. They pull songs apart and put them back together with new life in them. It adds up to the kind of night that stays with you long after the last song ends.
